InsaanCadet was founded by the first American-born child of Fijian parents — someone who grew up between two worlds and found home in neither, and eventually in both. Born in California. Raised between the Pacific and the Pacific Coast. The child of people who crossed an ocean so their children could reach for something further.
The Pacific Ocean is the largest thing on Earth. Fiji sits in the middle of it — surrounded by more water than most people can imagine, connected to a world that rarely looks back. You learn early, in that blood, that the horizon is not a limit. It is an invitation. That belonging is not a place. It is a choice you make every day.
Growing up first generation means you carry two cultures and belong fully to neither — until you build something that belongs to both. InsaanCadet is that something. Not American. Not Fijian.
